Getting Close!

We are getting close to starting production. Utilities (electric, water, and septic) is complete. The foundation is complete. Our building (which is being manufactured in Pennsylvania) is progressing, and is scheduled to be complete (with equipment installed) by the end of November. Our plan is to begin pilot production in January, and full production by March.  I'm really pleased with the progress and can't wait to be in production in our new facility. This facility will give us 50 gallons a day production capacity.

During the summer we doubled the size of the dairy flock, and we just finished pregnancy checking all of the dairy ewes. Our existing ewes have already started lambing a few weeks ago, and the new ewes are due to start lambing in mid-December (which will be perfect for production beginning in January).

We are also seeking a dairy / creamery operations manager. Our goal is to onboard this person before the first of the year.
